Neck ornaments and armlets made from a bar usually of a square cross section which was then twisted from left to right. A more complex variety is represented by flange twisted torcs, in which a plain body of square cross section was hammered to create flanges.
Bar torcs usually have terminals that are bent back and trumpet shaped.
