I'm currently a masters student on the MSc Archaeological Sciences programme at the University of Bradford. I am undertaking an assignment looking at metal detecting in the area of St. Ives Bingley and am interested in using findspot data to spot patterns using GIS. This is to identify areas most under threat from illegal metal detecting activities and therefore in need of protection.
