English Heritage Guardianship sites

I work as a Collection Curator for English Heritage in the north of England for English Heritage guardianship sites in the geographic areas of Yorkshire, Lancashire, Cumbria, Teesside, Durham and Northumberland. I actively research the collections (multi-period) held by English Heritage to improve interpretation and increase public understanding. This requires a holistic understanding of the areas immediately around the guardianship sites and the finds which have been discovered in the localities as well as comparable finds from elsewhere. I am also devising Collections Development Policies for ACE accreditation for our museums.
