Sherburn in Elmet

Principal investigator: Liam
Level: Archaeology society project

I wish to know the brooches that have been recorded from Sherburn in Elmet North Yorkshire. I know that detectorists have been active in the area of an excavation there conducted by MAP Archaeological Practice for which I am writing the small finds report. The excavated material has an unusually early time signature and I would like to see if this is supported by the detected material. Some items are recorded as coming from the site on the database but others which were given that location when I was writing the assessment some years ago now only record the location as North Yorkshire and I want to confirm that they are indeed from the area. This is a time limited project due to be completed by the end of October.
