Wimborne, Dorset

I am studying for an MPhil at Cardiff University. I am investigating a site near Wimborne, Dorset in which an excavation a hundred years ago revealed a sequence of occupation from Roman through to a high status medieval site. I would like to compare this with other sites in east Dorset to establish whether other medieval manorial sites also show a similar pattern of occupation. For this I am collecting evidence from the HER, grey literature, PAS and textual sources to obtain a full picture of settlement history in this area.
