Iron Age landscape of Somerset

Principal investigator: Liam
Level: Undergraduate

I am an undergraduate at Durham University currently undertaking my dissertation in Archaeology and as part of the research for this I am looking at a landscape and findspot analysis of an area around the Glastonbury Lake Village in Somerset. The aim of this research is to place GLV into its context within the wider Iron Age landscape of Somerset, which I will be modelling using the data from excavations and individual finds. One of the key sources of useful information is therefore in the PAS which has a wider spread of data from many different contexts and locations. Therefore being able to access the exact location data for the region is something I consider very important for my research.

The dissertation will be complete by May 2016 and will be available only by specific request from the university.
