Anglo-Saxon and Viking assembly-places in the wapentakes of Agbrigg, Morley, and Osgoldcross

Principal investigator: Liam
Level: Masters degree

I am doing a dissertation for an MA (Medieval History) at York University, on Anglo-Saxon and Viking assembly-places in the wapentakes of Agbrigg, Morley, and Osgoldcross. The deadline for submission is 19 September 2011. Precise identifications of findspots of material culture (such as the pins, tweezers etc attributed to Morley under ref SWYOR-7D9174) could be very relevant to the precise identification of assembly places, and may contribute not only to my dissertation but also to a wider academic understanding of the context of assemblies within the activities of Anglo-Saxon and Viking societies.
