Symbolic nature and iconography of Anglo-Saxon amulets in early medieval England

I am currently researching dissertation material for my MA in Medieval Archaeology at the University of Reading. My dissertation topic will evaluate and categorise the symbolic nature and iconography of Anglo-Saxon amulets in early medieval England. I would like to use the PAS as a basis for this research, before comparing and contrasting this data I find with other archaeological contexts. Ideally I would like research access until August, and plan to create and define a database of Anglo-Saxon amulets with some metal content. My supervisor on this project is Dr Gabor Thomas.
