I am currently writing a thesis on the continuation of Iron Age ritual tradition into the Roman periods of Britain. I have decided to focus primarily on hoarding practice within the landscape (150 BC to 300 AD). The area I have decided to focus on is the Fenlands, especially Cambridgeshire. I am interested in looking at the changing contexts of hoards (so would be attempting GIS to plot where hoards are found) and so would need co-ordinates. I am interested in looking at hoarding due to the assumption that the natives of Britain were passive acceptors of Roman religion.
